Feeling under the weather

This morning I just woke up… with a terrible headache. I’m still in bed, sipping a glass of warm ginger tea. I'm feeling a bit under the weather. This is the second time within a month I get a mild flu like my nose is blocked up, couching fit, and my eyes are a bit swollen. So I won’t be doing anything very energetic for the next couple days..

As long as my colleagues at the office won’t complain. I’ll take it easy, and veg out...

Your Lips

When your lips first smiled at me I was captured instantly…

Dreaming

It seems when a dream involves more than one own self, they become like this photo...

Feelings and Logics

It is said that women use feelings to deal with problems, on the other hand men use logics to solve problems. Is that true?

One of the example, why does a woman cry when they break up with her boyfriend? But it does not happen to men (some may cry). The answer is because women deal with feelings but men use logics.

To this extent, I agree with the mentioned above answer but not all the time that woman is the one who is crying. What happened if the woman herself is the one who asks for break up? Who is going to cry? Man, woman or no one?

Further, not all the time, women use feelings to deal with problems, sometimes they use logics. To generalize that “women is feelings” and “men is logics” is unfair.

I would say that men have their part of feelings. They just tend to hide it. Men hardly show when they cry because in general view a perception is constructed that men is tough and do not cry. While women tend to show their feelings and can do it anytime they want and anywhere.

Really, I don’t see any problem with men crying…

Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1427 H

Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1427 H

Mohon Maaf Lahir Bathin...

Bila canda membuat luka,
bila lidah salah bicara,
bila perbuatan telah menyakitkan,
hanya kata maaf yang pantas terucap…

Trail of Tears

A tear to meet, a tear to depart. A tear for our worlds so far apart.
A tear to stay, a tear to flee. A tear for you who cried for me.
A tear for your joy, a tear for my sorrow. A tear for all love from you I borrow.

Catch them they escape. Wipe them they re-appear. Best to let them fall.

There is no greater beauty than Tears. There is something particularly touching, and tender, about a Tear, something so tender that it breaks you without you ever knowing, or feeling, until it is done, and you are already glued back together, and better...

Falling in Love

Could It Be I’m Falling In Love
(Sung by The Spinners)

Since I met you I begun to feel so strange

Every time I speak your name [that’s funny]
You say that you are so helpless too
That you don’t know what to do

Each night I pray there will never come a day
When you up and take your love away
Say you feel the same way too
And I wonder what it is I feel for you

Could it be I’m falling in love [With you baby]
Could it be I’m falling in love [Woo]
Could it be I’m falling in love
With you
With you
With you, you

I don’t need all those things that used to bring me joy
You make me such a happy boy
And honey you’ll always be the only for me
Meeting you was my destiny

You can be sure I will never let you down
When you need me I’ll be around
And darling you’ll always be
The only one for me
Heaven made you specially

Could it be I’m falling in love [With you baby]
Could it be I’m falling in love [Woo]
Could it be I’m falling in love
With you
With you
With you, you

And darling you’ll always be
The only one for me
Heaven made you specially

Could it be I’m falling in love [With you baby]
Could it be I’m falling in love [I wanna know now baby]
Could it be I’m falling in love
With you
With you
With you, you

I walk around with my heart in my hands hey
Walk the street as long as I can baby
I used to sing fa fa fa
But right now I feel so good I sing la la la la
Once you get me upWon’t let me down
Just let this feeling carry me on
Skip the beats with my heart girl

Could it be I’m falling in love
Could it be I’m falling in love
Could it be I’m falling in love
Could it be I’m falling in love
Could it be I’m falling in love

“Could It Be I’m Falling In Love” was one of songs that gave you that ‘puppy love’ feeling.
Well for me it did…

The first time I fell in love was at school. She was adorable and shy, which I find an extremely attractive and endearing quality. Everytime I saw her, I would almost get whiplash from quickly turning my head away, in a misguided attempt to make it appear as if I wasn’t staring. I’d sometimes end up gazing into her eyes by accident, after walking through a door and would be overwhelmed by a feeling of euphoria…

It was heartlifting and wonderful. It’s a cherished memory and taught me an awful lot in a very, very short space of time…

As the Rush Comes

This day at work was a total wash. I got to work late, attended meetings but had no real input, stayed late but didn’t close cross out any items on my to-do list. The farewell with my dear colleague was affectionated. We talked for a while after that, and she been promising to call me at homecoming.

It is the kind of day that I would love to be siting on the porch, rocking in a chair and sipping iced tea. the wind is blowing, light music is playing in the background and I would love to be travelling anywhere, could be anywhere but where I am... at work.

Days like today are rare and wondrous. If you can, enjoy it. Dance with your partner in the sun and live fully, completely and with wild abandon. Let the wind blow slightly the bodies and be grateful for this day…

As the Rush Comes
(sung by Motorcycle)

travelling somewhere
could be anywhere
theres a coldness in the air
but i don't care
we drift deeper
and life goes on
we drift deeper
into the sound
travelling somewhere
could be anywhere
theres a coldness in the air
but i don't care
we drift deeper into the sound
life goes on
we drift deeper into the sound
feeling strong
so bring it on
so bring it on..
embrace me
surround me
as the rush comes [4x]

so bring it on
so bring it on...
we drift deeper into the sound
life goes on
we drift deeper into the sound
feeling strong
so bring it on
so bring it on..
embrace me
surround me
as the rush comes [7x]

as the rush comes
as the rush comes
as the rush comes
as the rush comes..

My dream destination

Malang, which is noted as one of the most beautiful, cleanest and coolest cities in East Java. Without any doubt, been famous since a long time ago and it became popular as a Dutch hill town in the late 19th century so many buildings are well preserved. The growth started after 1870, when the Europeans built coffee, rubber, and cacao plantations and the sugar industry of the government started to grow. The wealth attracted more and more Dutch. They built houses in the city, and holiday house in the mountains of Batu, Selekta and Lawang. Some major streets, like Jalan Ijen, are tree-lined European style boulevards. These thoroughfares retain their residential status and haven’t been destroyed by crass commercial development.

The city is located on a nice, with vulcanoes surrounded plateau, 450 metres above the pressing heat of the lowlands. To the east is the Hindu’s sacred the active Gunung Semeru (Java’s highest peak at 3680 meters), and Bromo-Tengger. To the west is Gunung Kawi, which has mystical properties, particularly for the Chinese. To the north Gunung Anjasmoro, Arjuna and Penderman dominates the view, covered with hotels and holiday places. Batu, just 20 minutes higher, is even cooler and blooming. Its reputation as a city of flowers is well rooted.

Malang is also saturated in ancient history. This was the heart of the Singosari Kingdom. In the village of that name, 12 kilometers to the north are some extraordinary 700 years old monuments built to honour Hindu and Buddhist priests. All the numerous archaeological sites are close by and easy to visit by public transport.

Malang has a population of around 800,000 and a reputation for being an education city with several quality universities. So you’re bound to encounter students everywhere, and especially because, the cost of living is relatively lower than in other cities in Indonesia.

The native people of Malang are known to be religious, dynamic, hardworking, flexible and proud to be identified as an “Arema” (AREk MAlang = Youth from Malang). The original native comes from different ethnic backgrounds such as Javanese, Maduranese, and some even from Arab and Chinese descent.

The main language used is Bahasa Indonesia. But the natives commonly use Javanese language, using a mixture of Eastern Javanese and Maduranese dialect for daily conversation. The youth have developed a new dialect - typical of youth in Malang which they call “Boso Walikan” means pronouncing each word backward.

As where old Dutch planters and civil servants used to retire to a life of ease and comfortableness, Malang is my dream destination, one of the place where I can realize my retirement later on…

Farewell of a funny blog

It’s really quite fun to visit and read blogs which posted full with beautifull photos or funy drawings, sketches and paintings. I like and love the gestures, and the this, and the that behind the story.

One of my favorite blog
Funny Cute has stopped officially. Her sketches and drawings look really cool and have super color. I love the looseness of her drawings. Not many people can capture emotion with one swoop line. Great stuff, funny cute!

It saddens me to think that she stop posting. I’ll still visit occasionally to look at her drawings though in case she decide to post more work…
