The last day of November

Today is the last day in November. A month being grateful where I shared with you my emotions and feelings. A month that shows how we’re getting above normal temperatures for this time of year!
A Sweet November month has past.

Tomorrow is already December 1st! It is cold outside and it will get colder tonight. The winter and Christmas Holiday is coming soon…… each and everytime I hear George Michael sing “
Last Christmas, I gave you my heart. But the very next day, you gave it away”….

The Lake House

How do you hold on to someone you’ve never met?
It’s really a hard question, specially when the time is not under your control, any other troubles could be beaten, but time has been always the unbeaten, uncontrolled factor in our lives.

It is a winter morning in 2006.

On her way to the city, Dr. Kate Forster (Sandra Bullock) leaves a note in the mailbox for house’s next tenant, asking him to forward her mail and noting that the inexplicable painted paw prints he might notice by the front door were there when she moved in.

But when the next tenant arrives, he sees a much different picture. Alex Wyler (Keanu Reeves), a talented but frustrated architect working at a nearby construction site, finds the lake house badly neglected: dusty, dirty and overgrown with weeds. And no sign of paw prints anywhere.

The house has special meaning for Alex. In a happier time it was built by his estranged father (Christopher Plummer), a renowned architect who allowed his professional acclaim to grow at the expense of his family life. Alex feels a sense of peace here now and commits to restoring the property to its original beauty. He disregards Kate’s note until, days later, while painting the weather-beaten jetty he sees a stray dog run across the fresh paint and then towards the entrance of the house, leaving paw prints exactly where she said they’d be.

Baffled, Alex writes back, saying that the house had no occupant before him and wondering how she could have known about the dog; while Kate, who just left it a week ago, imagines he is playing some kind of joke on her and fires back a reply.

Just for argument’s sake, what day is it there?
April 14th, 2004.
No, she says. It’s April 14th, 2006.
It’s the same day, two years apart.

Can this be happening?

As Kate and Alex continue to correspond through the lake house’s mailbox they confirm that they are, incredibly, impossibly, living two years apart, and each at a time in their lives when they are struggling with past disappointments and trying to make a new start. Sharing this unusual bond, they reveal more of themselves to one another with each passing week - their secrets, their doubts and dreams, until they find themselves falling in love.

Be a part of me

There is a place in me where your fingerprints still rest, your kisses still linger, and your whispers softly echo. It is the place where a part of you will forever be a part of me…

Brave

Brave is on of the key points to succeed and do well in every task that we do. If one is not brave enough to decide what one’s want to do, one will never be improved, one step futher than one used to be. Some people are too scared to do anything, so they will just be in the same position for the rest of their life. As long as we have done nothing wrong, why must we scare? We must be braved in everything that we do as long as the act is correct, right, and not against the law.

A person who is not dare to do anything usually he or she will think about all the sides effects before doing anything such as “what will the public think of me if I do such things?” or “what if I fail?” or “how ashamed am I going to be?”. As a result of it, they will just play safe as they do not need to discover or experience any risks and criticism from everyone else.

On one hand, making mistake is also one of the process to success…

Sweet November

It is not because the movie “Sweet November” by Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron. But somehow I can’t remember how people used to describe November as “Sweet November”.

Before I could even realize how fast time really passes, the month of October has gone. Gone within a snap. We can’t fight what is in our nature. Our biological clock is ticking. Beside, we’re not getting any younger. Time surely flies fast. Time is really cruel.

May we all have a Sweet November!…

Me and Mrs. Jones

“Me and Mrs. Jones” played in my head in an almost hymnal way, bittersweet and lyrical, the impossible love song impossibly and defiantly true.

The man knows it’s wrong that he and Mrs. Jones meet each day at six thirty at their favorite cafe, holding hands, making up plans, playing their favorite song over and over and over again.

Knows it must come to an end some day too soon, that each of them will trudge back to their own separate lives of unmentioned husbands an wives, living out the rest of their lives in the blues-festered wounds they have created.

But right then, in the hallows of the song, the only thing that matters is that they are together for three minutes of a song, more together maybe than they’ll ever be again. That’s the magic of their sin, in choosing to go left when all the world and heaven too commands them not to give in, to do the right thing instead.

Me And Mrs. Jones
(Sung: by Billy Paul)

Me and Mrs. Jones
We got a thing going on
We both know that it’s wrong, but it’s much too strong
To let it grow now

We meet every day at the same cafe, six-thirty
I know, I know she’ll be there
Holding hands, making all kinds of plans
While the jukebox plays our favorite song

Me and Mrs.
Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones
We got a thing going on
We both know that it’s wrong, but it’s much too strong
To let it grow now

We gotta be extra careful
That we don’t build our hopes up too high
‘Cause she’s got her own obligations
And so, and so, do I

Me and Mrs.
Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones
We’ve got a thing going on
We both know that it’s wrong, but it’s much too strong
To let it grow now

Well it’s time for us to be leaving
It hurts so much, it hurts so much inside
Now she’ll go her way and I’ll go mine
Tomorrow we’ll meet the same place, the same time

Me and Mrs.
Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones
Got a thing going on

We gotta be extra careful
We can’t afford to build, our hopes up too high
I wanna meet and talk with you
At the same place, the same cafe, the same time
And we’re gonna hold hands like we used to
We're gonna talk it over, talk it over
We know, they know, and you know and I know that it was wrong
But I think it’s strong
We gotta let ‘em know now
That we gotta thing goin’ on, a thing goin’ on...

Lips Of An Angel

It’s really good to hear your voice saying my name.
It sounds so sweet, coming from the lips of an angel.

Some days I wish she would walk back into my life because memories, well, memories of her voice never seem to fade. It’s having that person seemingly re-enter your life, and you find that there are still feelings there, even though you’ve so called moved on…

Dance4Life

Dance4Life is a growing, worldwide project to fight back HIV and AIDS by dancing. In 2006 Dance4Life is actively working in thirteen countries: Egypt, Ethiopia, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Kenya, Nigeria, Russia, South Africa, Tanzania, United Kingdom, Vietnam and The Netherlands.

In all of these countries NCOs (National Concept Owners) are organising Dance4Life events for thousands of young people where they will be involved in the Dance4Life Schools Project, which is life skills driven, culminates in a huge dance event on the Saturday before World AIDS Day (November 25th).

The Dance Event creates incredible momentum. Imagine yourself, dancing along with others all over the planet, seeing each other through internet and satellite connections. All dressed in white. Dancing the same Drill. By being so many, you can demand the right to health and education and together fight HIV and AIDS.

By World AIDS Day 2012, at least one million people dancing all over the world, connected by satellite, making a powerful statement of hope. For the dancing youngsters this is the climax of their Schools Projects. A million involved young people dancing will make such a positive statement that we will attract media, politicians and the general public all over the world.

Whenever others see you dance, they too will become aware that there is no time for hesitation. 40.3 million people are living with HIV. A lot can be done by good education and by combating taboos. Young people are the group most at risk: every day, over 6,000 people between 15-24 years old are infected. They want the young to become leaders, instead of targets.

Start dancing, Stop AIDS,
Dance4Life

You only take heat when you need to

You only take heat when you need to
And you need to

Come let me brief you
And let you see where greed leads to
And you need to

Inspire the love inside your people
Our people, equal
Food is for all, no steeples and no spires
No more hellfires and please no more gunfire

Dance 4 Life (4x)

Quench we meable them thirst
Put them first
And when the floodgates burst
Come inside and we’ll keep you strong

We protect the children of this new dawn
We’re properly skilled and we fear no storm
And what we’re building will persevere long
After the wicked them disappear

Justice, dues and rights gone clear
Me and the youth we have will start this here
Me and the youth we have will start this year

You're my Moonshine

When the night is coming, the moon up opposite the sea. The beautiful night will arriving. The beach in the moonlight was very different from the beach by day. There was no darkness in the world, but only warm, mysterious shadows. The night was warmer than any night had ever been, the heavens by some miracle at once vaster and nearer, and spite of the great ivory-tinted moon that ruled the world, the sky was full of stars.

We watching the moon rise above the sea tonight. It was spectacular. Almost full. Words. Not the real moon. We here sitting where that waves gleefully run around us. Water cooling down and lapping at our feet. Looking once more at the pale yellow moon. Romantic. Enchanting.

The Moon was beautiful, and it was. As beautiful as it is now. I know why I was happy. I was inlove. Someone made me special and somehow, I think I made someone special too. No clues prior. My heart again made decisions that my mind wasn’t even told.

As with all love though it finds a way. The moon the sea may be far away, but the night wasn’t. And the start stil shine brightly, as if encouraging us to make love grow. Make Love possible, Make Love happen. It did happen in time after a million shared moments between us. Sorted out all too late. Moment gone. Magic gone. Moon watching is for lovers…

I must remember to ask if sea calls “my dream” the way it does to me. And so my hope floats.... will it ever come to pass... us together hand in hand.. laughing, smiling, loving with the sea waves at our feet playing and the moon giving us light... And I said to myself.. remind me to ask you when I come back...

Dedicated to a girl friend that has a special place in my heart, which has sent the following beautiful words today to me…

“aku liat bulan udah purnama, aku gak bakal lupa bulan purnama....dipinggir pantai..kamu lah bulan purnama aku…”

A Kiss is still a Kiss

A kiss is still a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh. The fundamental things apply as time goes by.
There is nothing more romantic than a kiss. It can make your heart sing, the earth stop spinning, and can be better than any drug. A kiss has made grown men and women do silly things like jump up and click their heels together in a moment of sheer victory.

There are so many different kinds of kisses. Kisses aren’t just defined by their physical attributes, either. Much of what makes kissing unique is the emotion it conveys.

“You should be kissed and often
And by someone who knows how”

Beauty

Our thought make things beautiful, our thoughts make things ugly.
Can anything be inherently beautiful? Or inherently ugly?
For that matter, are the two really opposites?

For example, can there be an ugly flower? Certainly there are a wide range of sizes and colours, perfumes and shapes, but is it possible for a flower to be ugly? I suggest that ugliness is not a physical attribute at all, that all physical things have a beauty of their own, sometimes in their looks, sometimes in their properties. Trees, animals, insects, stones, mountains, mould and bacteria, they can all be beautiful. Even the weather can be beautiful. They can also be fatal and destructive in ways that create awe and trepidation but never a sense of ugliness.

And people? What is beauty and what is not? Popular magazines skew the field by using underage models and airbrushing away blemishes to produce ‘ideal’ proportioned images... of what? The young nymphette. But it is a beauty, none the less. One of many. The more I reflect on it the more I see ugliness as an attitude, an emotional state rather than a physical state.

The naked body, is it beautiful? Or is it ugly? Yes, in context, is probably the closest answer. A body that is relaxed and at ease with the world is a beautiful thing, the most well proportioned body that is in a state of anger or defiance is not beautiful, it’s tenseness and enmity disturbing the viewer.

Beauty seems to go hand in hand with serenity...

Thinks

Male and female brains are different in architecture and chemical composition, asserts of Dr. Louann Brizendine. Males have double the brain space and processing power devoted to sex as females. Just as women have an eight-lane superhighway for processing emotion, while men have a small country road. Men, however, have O’Hare Airport as a hub of processing thoughts about sex, whereas women have the airfield nearby that lands small and private planes.

That’s probably explains why 54 % of men (and only 19 % of women) think about sex every day or several times a day. Only 20% describe sex as romantic.

Isn’t it funny how men and women see things so differently, even when they do try to communicate. If she knew what he was really thinking, I wonder if she would be pleased or incensed…

Why is chocolate better than sex?

The saying may go, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”, but what about women? It is a long standing tradition to present a woman with a box of chocolate as a romantic gesture. Is it simply because women love chocolate or does the root of this tradition go deeper?

The list I found seems to favour the women’s point of view. No luck trying to find a male equivalent. Apparently nothing is better than sex.

1. You can GET chocolate.
2. Chocolate satisfies even when it has gone soft.
3. You can safely have chocolate while you are driving.
4. You can make chocolate last as long as you want it to.
5. You can have chocolate even in front of your mother.
6. If you bite the nuts too hard the chocolate won’t mind.
7. Two people of the same sex can have chocolate without being called nasty names.
8. The word “commitment” doesn’t scare off chocolate.
9. You can have chocolate on your workdesk during working hours without upsetting your co-workers.
10. You can ask a stranger for chocolate without getting your face slapped.
11. With chocolate there’s no need to fake it.
12. Chocolate doesn’t make you pregnant.
13. You can have chocolate at any time of the month.
14. Good chocolate is easy to find.
15. You can have as many kinds of chocolate as you can handle.
16. You are never too young or too old for chocolate.
17. When you have chocolate it does not keep your neighbours awake.
18. With chocolate size doesn’t matter.
