Autumn Leaves

As summer ends and autumn comes, the days get shorter and shorter. This is how the trees “know” to begin getting ready for winter.

I have always loved the colours of autumn leaves. Did you ever wonder how and why a fall leaf changes color? Why the leaves are turns bright red, yellow and orange?...

FaFi, the fine Art of Graffiti

FaFi is one of France’s leading graffiti and fine artists, living in Toulouse. She started as a graffiti sprayer with high provocating images of sexy girls, by exploring femininity through Fafinettes world journey and using it to her advantage Fafi creates work that is both powerful and evocative.

Nowadays she’s well established as one of the top female graffiti artists, present in exhibitions all around the world. She is also active with her clothing line of shirts and handbags and has been featured in MTV Europe’s style show and in Italian Vogue magazines.

If you tour her website... it’s like entering another world. A skewed fantasy world where girls have pink and aqua hair, enormous eyes, otherworldly animal companions, and lots of striped socks and armwarmers. They’re oddly futuristic as well…

Mitos konyol

Mitos 1:

Kalau merayakan ultah gak boleh dimajuin, dimundurin boleh, tapi gak boleh dimajuin. Kalau dimajuin kan merayakan sesuatu yang belum terjadi, siapa tahu ada apa-apa in between, kan bikin sedih aja..

Mitos 2:

Mitos 7:
Kalau mau punya anak cowo pas mau “you-know-what” harus naik dari sebelah kiri ranjang.

Mitos 8:
Kalau mau pipis dihutan pas kebelet, harus bilang “permisi” dulu, kalau ‘gak, bisa-bisa bengkak “his or hers”-nya.

Say I Love You

Never say I love you, if you don’t really mean love. Never talk about feelings, if you don’t really know. Sometimes when eyes meet and hearts touch there is no need to say ...“I Love You, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart…”

I just called to say, I love you
(sung by Stevie Wonder)

No New Year’s Day to celebrate
No chocolate covered candy hearts to give away
No first of spring
No song to sing
In fact here’s just another ordinary day

No April rain
No flowers bloom
No wedding Saturday within the month of June
But what it is, is something true
Made up of these three words that I must say to you

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart

No summer’s high
No warm July
No harvest moon to light one tender August night
No autumn breeze
No falling leaves
Not even time for birds to fly to southern skies

No Libra sun
No Halloween
No giving thanks to all the Christmas joy you bring
But what it is, though old so new
To fill your heart like no three words could ever do

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart, of my heart,
of my heart

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart, of my heart,
...of my heart

Sometimes

There are days where you think that your job is sucks, your life is boring so and so.. but then if you look at people around you then you start to think, “hey my life isn’t so bad afterall”….

Those kind of feeling that makes us human. Nobody can have everything. If your job is sucks then you better start finding a new challenge. Start up your engine. Be merry and be happy. life is full of surprises. Start having positive attitude.. it helps!!!.. Be content with yourself. And last, be grateful. You never know how much you miss it until it’s gone….

That’s how life is. You can plan all you want yet sometimes the only way it works out is to jump right into it. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend, no matter what might pop up. Making pleasure with a girl friend, going to a movie, a stroll or whatever be….

Smile

Lily Allen: her of heart-shaped earrings, fluorescent eye liner and summer anthem “Smile”, has created a neat, cohesive debut, describing urban life from the clever girl’s perspective. I liked the song when I first heard it. Never heard of her before, or her famous dad, or any of her history.

The bouncing “Smile” is just as good, its loose reggae arrangement. As Lily Allen sings bitterly about her ex, with just a hint of vulnerability at first “You were fucking that girl next door / What’d you do that for?”, before going to her friends for reassurance “With a little help from my friends / I found a light in the tunnel at the end”, and confronting the guy during the chorus with a mean-spirited confidence that has us cheering inside “When I see you cry, yeah it makes me smile”…

Lily Allen - Smile (ringtone on your mobile phone)
Lily Allen - Smile (audio music)
Lily Allen - Smile (video music)
(sung by Lily Allen)

When you first left me I was wanting more
But you were fucking that girl next door, what’d you do that for
When you first left me I didn’t know what to say
I’d never been on my own that way, just sat by myself all day

I was so lost back then
But with a little help from my friends

I found a light in the tunnel at the end
Now you’re calling me up on the phone
So you can have a little whine and a moan
And it’s only because you’re feeling alone

At first when I see you cry,
yeah it makes me smile, yeah it makes my smile
At worst I feel bad for a while,
but then I just smile I go ahead and smile

Whenever you see me you say that you want me back
And I tell you it don’t mean jack, no it don’t mean jack
I couldn’t stop laughing, no I just could help myself
See you messed up my mental health I was quite unwell

I was so lost back then
But with a little help from my friends
I found a light in the tunnel at the end
Now you’re calling me up on the phone
So you can have a little whine and a moan
And it’s only because you’re feeling alone

At first when I see you cry,
yeah it makes me smile, yeah it makes my smile
At worst I feel bad for a while,
but then I just smile I go ahead and smile

lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala lalala

At first when I see you cry,
yeah it makes me smile, yeah it makes my smile
At worst I feel bad for a while,
but then I just smile I go ahead and smile

lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala

Kebahagiaan

Aku sedang menyimpannya.

Ingat-ingatlah lima aturan sederhana untuk menjadi bahagia:
1. Bebaskan hatimu dari rasa benci.
2. Bebaskan pikiranmu dari segala kekuatiran.

3. Hiduplah dengan sederhana.
4. Give more.

5. Expect less.

A Bag of Nails

Not an original, but I think it tells a good story...

Once upon a time there was a little boy with a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he should hammer a nail in the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. But gradually, the number of daily nails dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the first day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He proudly told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. “You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out, it won’t matter how many times you say “I’m sorry”, the woun is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

Friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us. Show your friends how much you care. Open out your heart as well and you will find how wonderful it is to lead a life without any wounds and to be at peace all the time.

If you feel you have left a hole in anyone’s life. Do what you can to ensure you never again leave such scars in anyone’s life because remember that all the people you know in the world make up the fence and you never know when u are going to hammer a nail into them. So be in control of your temper at all times. It is better to take a deep breath first...

A Journey of the Heart

Kissing is a journey of the heart. Sometimes you’re gentle, sometimes you’re rough and passionately. Sometimes you’ve kissed someone on the cheek, sometimes on the lips and someone on their necks.

If you want to know if he loves you so, it’s in his kiss. The same goes for women as well, and the point is, the way you kiss and want to be kissed has a lot to reveal about what type of partner you're looking for and whether you want that partner to be for life or just for now...

Friendship

A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
Friendship is the key to hapiness...

I can’t give solutions to all of life’s problems, doubts, or fears.
But I can listen to you, and together we will search for answers…

The Answer to everything

It becomes clearer with every passing year, that love is the answer to everything. It is the way, the truth and the life. It is the redeemer and the saviour, the beginning and the ending, the light behind real wisdom, the inspiration behind all forms of beauty that men have created…

Jakarta, the Enticing City

The Indonesian capital city of Jakarta is a truly fascinating place. It is all at once the combination of emerging southeast Asian democracy with its associated political upheaval, of rapid modern growth and change mixed with deeply rooted traditions, and of widespread peace and religious tolerance amidst a country known for its scattered religious turmoil.

Jakarta looks like a typical American city, loaded with tall skyscrapers, modern shopping malls, beautiful office buildings, and dozens of prominent monuments and museums. For a Muslim country, nightlife in Jakarta is fairly lively. There are a number of cinemas, theatres, nightclubs and casinos throughout the city, though do not expect to be overwhelmed by the quality of any of these establishments.

What is it that makes Jakarta such an enticing city?
Sure we all love to bark about the traffic and the pollution, but there is something wildly intoxicating about the capital. A certain je ne sais quoi, if you will.

So is it the 5-star service that dazzles you, or is it the hyperrealism, the pandemonium of the streets, the piquant smells and the furiously hot spices, that keeps you enthralled?

Luxurious Jakarta is so seductive and it’s easy to become spoiled in the blink of an eye. The city’s best spas, restaurants, bars and clubs cater to practically any whim. And while you may scoff at the street vendors, the girly bars and the sputtering bajaj, the truth is that they all add spice and character to the city and without them, Jakarta would just be a poor man's Singapore.

The city’s allure is that it makes you feel alive. Intense pleasure from massage parlours, culinary ecstasy from haute cuisine, shock and awe from watching Blok M girls work, schoolgirl delight from the insane shopping. And then there’s the sheer fear you feel for your life when crossing Jalan Gatot Subroto on foot, or navigating through Pasar Senen, or when you’ve realised that 4 am streetside bakso you just gulped down is seriously disagreeing with you.

One thing is for sure: Jakarta keeps you on your toes...

One Sun

“Janet lives in England, Pierre lives in France and Bonnie lives in Canada”..
“Ahmed lives in Egypt, Moshe lives in Israel and Kimberly lives in Australia”..
“Ching lives in China, Olga lives in Russia and Helmut lives in Germany”..
“Reza lives in Indonesia, Pablo lives in Spain and Estrella lives in Columbia”..

We all see only one sun, the hot disc of every clear daytime. No matter where we place ourselves in the world, there’s only one sun - the light that gives us hope, reminds us of our home, our childhoods and those we love that we left behind. The same sun shines on us all…

Unconditional True Love

A female tiger plays with baby pigs at a zoo in Chonburi provience, at 80 km east of Bangkok. The tigress was born in captivity and breastfed by a female pig for four months.

The tigress as shown in the photos teaches us a great lesson of love and affection and what’s more that I see is that a mother is always a mother to her own kids as well as to those of others’.

So much unconditional and true love can be found amongst animals, why then can’t we human beings spread love? An animal can look past the color of the skin and the background of the other, why can’t humans?…

You Give Me Something

Rock songs can elate you when something’s going wrong and sentimental ballads help express the deepest warm feel.

“You Give Me Something” is a spellbinding, bittersweet, bluesy-soul song about concealing true emotions in the early stages of a relationship. Beautiful dreamy love song decorated with a romantic string arrangement and a beautiful pleading chorus.

You Give Me Something (ringtone on your mobile phone)
You Gime Me Something (music video)
(by James Morrison)

You want to stay with me in the morning

You only hold me when I sleep,
I was meant to tread the water
Now I’ve gotten in too deep,
For every piece of me that wants you
Another piece backs away.

’Cause you give me something
That makes me scared, alright,
This could be nothing
But I’m willing to give it a try,
Please give me something
’Cause someday I might know my heart.

You already waited up for hours
Just to spend a little time alone with me,
And I can say I’ve never bought you flowers
I can’t work out what the mean,
I never thought that I’d love someone,
That was someone else's dream.

’Cause you give me something
That makes me scared, alright,
This could be nothing
But I’m willing to give it a try,
Please give me something,
’Cause someday I might call you from my heart,
But it might me a second too late,
And the words I could never say
Gonna come out anyway.

’Cause you give me something
That makes me scared, alright,
This could be nothing
But I’m willing to give it a try,
Please give me something,
’Cause you give me something
That makes me scared, alright,
This could be nothing
But I’m willing to give it a try,
Please give me something
’Cause someday I might know my heart.
Know my heart, know my heart, know my heart…

Cross of Changes

Long ago, for many years, white men came in the name of GOD.

They took their land, they took their lives. A new age has just begun. They lost their GODS, they lost their smile. They cried for help for the last time.Liberty was turning into chains. They tried to fight for liberty.

Without a chance in hell, they gave up.

White men won in the name of GOD, with the cross as alibi.

There's no GOD who ever tried to change the world in this way.
For the ones who abuse His name, there'll be no chance to escape on judgement day.

In the name of GOD - The fight for gold. These were the changes.
Tell me… is it right?… In the name of GOD these kind of changes?

But all the white men said… “That’s the cross of changes”

Enigma

There are times when you feel all alone in an lsland and nothing besides you just the open sky and a soft music going behind you. Yes that is the feeling, which every human being once in his life wants to spend. Engima is the passion for meditation. It has everything in place, soft trance, passionate female voice, thumping beat (like a heart beat), and of course the feeling of closeness.

It’s entrancing, sensual and erotic, rythmical like a hi-tech locomotive escaping from reality, high in the sky, in the night.
It’s talking about desire, desire of the flesh, temptations, forbbiden pleasures. It’s talking about the conflict between humanity and spirituality of human being.

The sound of Enigma never tires me.
I enjoy them in all moods, when I’m sad, weeping and rocking…

In the next two posts I will share you the sound of Enigma.
Relax… close your eyes and listen to the music that will bring you to the world of spirit and meditation…

Clotheslines

There were no secrets you could keep when clothes were hung to dry. But clotheslines now are of the past for dryers make work less. Now what goes on inside a home is anybody’s guess. When neighbors knew each other best by what hung on the line!

I really miss that way of life. It was a friendly sign…

Forbidden Love

Sometimes... Forbidden Love... is meant to be...

Just one kiss on your lips
Just one look from your eyes
Just one smile on your face
Just one touch from your hands
Just one word from your mouth

Just one kiss, just one touch, just one look
Supposed we're be together, we're seal the destiny together

Berlin, Germany, 1st September 2006 - It’s official. My employer Royal Philips Semiconductors, where I’ve working for more then 37 years, will move forward as NXP Semiconductors. Philips Semiconductors CEO Frans van Houten has given the official announcement at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) consumer electronics show in Berlin.

“NXP stands for Next Experience. In order to emphasize the rich heritage that NXP gained from 53 years as part of Royal Philips, the NXP name will be supported by the tagline founded by Philips.”
