Clotheslines

There were no secrets you could keep when clothes were hung to dry. But clotheslines now are of the past for dryers make work less. Now what goes on inside a home is anybody’s guess. When neighbors knew each other best by what hung on the line!

I really miss that way of life. It was a friendly sign…

Can't help but express the wish that even though technology is so omnipresent and omni-requisite(if i may call it that),there would be a world without anything digital.

I've been so wistful lately to be born in 1970s...when men were men and women were beautifully just women...When there'd be handwritten notes, perfumed, and roses sent from the nearest garden... :(

"simple pleasures, hardest to be found
Can't be measured till they're not around...
