Back to work

I just returned from a business trip and started back to work today. It was a short trip, just 3 overnights, but I was surprised how much it wiped me out. I’d really rather not go on, but work is work and it pays the bills.

I’ve been very busy with working out the previous Audit Reports and Management letters. Also I’ve to do some thinking concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of the various industrial and business processes. The aim is a continual process of review and assessment, to verify that the system is working as it’s supposed to, find out where it can improve, and to correct or prevent problems identified.

Finally, I’ve been present at meetings with local colleagues, suppliers and customers and brought it to an end with formal signing of a quality agreement and related documents. All in all, this is keeping me quite busy, so I haven’t been able to blog much…
